Living Room

September 2009 when we bought our house. Somebody loved wallpaper. And sunflowers. And bad patch jobs.

Carpet's been pulled, wallpaper's been stripped.

We love good friends who helped us paint! And of course we're still hooked up to the Internet...and yes, it's sitting on scaffolding!

Half way through the bamboo flooring thanks to a very awesome friend! We've upgraded to a fold-up table for the computer. Fancy! And the stove finds a temporary home while I am tiling the kitchen (6 months pregnant!).

Flooring is finished, most of the baseboards are in. Poor door needs a good paint job.

The living room now. It has definately came a long way, but I still have plans for this space. There's a lot of empty wall begging for art and pictures, and I would love a different sofa and chair.
Our shelving/entertainment cabinet. There's not a whole lot of extra space when you have a baby in a two bedroom condo, so I am loving all the storage I got from the cabinets. Ikea, of course. Hoping to have some pictures blown up to put in the two white glass doors. Probably of the baby :)
The cable socket needs to be put back in...oops! We laid down a big 7x10 rug for the baby to have a soft place to crawl around and play. And while I would love a big gorgeous rug with some really cool design print on it, they are so expensive! And we have a baby. Things could get messy! I'd like to recover the orange pillows and switch out the orange throw, both for more neutral colors maybe. The side table and lamp are actaully supposed to be upstairs next to my side of the bed, but Baby's crib took up too much space and I haven't found a table and lamp for the living room I want yet, so it works.
