Christmas Time

This is the second year Eli and I have made Amaretto after finding this awesome recipe. And this is the first year I got to taste it! Last year I bottled it in swing cap bottles, which turned out really cute, but also a little pricey since we had to order them online. This year I saved up spaghetti and baby food jars. Some for family (fancied up with old ornaments)...And some for friends with little hair flower clips. There's an easy to follow tutorial here.
And since I was in a very DIY gifting mood, I took an inexpensive white porcelain bowl and jazzed it up with a Porcelain marker from Michaels after seeing this adorable post! The bowl went to my Mom!
Our Christmas-winter table. I already had all the candlesticks and a piece of fabric lying around that was the pefect length for a makeshift runner. The front tree is an old school magazine tree I made and covered in glitter, the feather tree I also made with a $2 cone and $2 feathers from Michaels, and the silver tinsel one in the back was $2.50 in the dollar bins at Target.
