Hanging Around

The corner of our master bedroom just a few days ago...
And now today! The wall color is definately more true to color in this photo (I need to get better at my Canon!). I hung up some cheap $4.99 Ikea frames and finished sewing the curtains (they are even lined...fancy!). I must admit, I have yet to hem the bottoms, they are just pinned up for now since I ran out of thread. Drats! I've made myself promise I'd get it done this week though.
The curtains! I hung them up really high on the wall and went with little black clips rather than running the rod through the curtain. Seems more airey to me and it will make it easier to open and close, since I love letting in the sunlight in the mornings.
These are the frames above his bed...they are (again) only computer printouts. But I did send them to be developed, just have to pick them up!Next up for the bedroom is a new bed. We have a king right now and while we love the space (since we share with Baby), it's way to big for the room. So we're looking into a queen. And then we can finally get an actual bedframe and some matching sheets and comforter! I am glad we didn't do it earlier though, better to spend the money after the spit-up stage!
