The second bathroom is undergoing a fresh layer of paint...more like MANY fresh layers of paint in order to cover up all the floral! And soon it will be a very beachy blue with sandy trim for an seashore kind of vibe to go with the towels Eli picked out.
And when we realized that whoever put up this mirror felt some insane need to quadruple reinforce it with all sorts of sticky stuff as well as the typical mirror hardward (which should have sufficed!) we had to take drastic measures! Crazy me didn't feel right just taping off the mirror and leaving the wall underneath floral! So after shoving spatulas and knifes in between the mirror and the wall trying to break the bond, Eli brought out the samuri sword! And it worked! Well, sort of...the mirror is off...but not in one piece!

But after bringing the towel rail home, it seems too long for the small bathroom and I think I'll opt for the hook rack instead. That and one of these little baskets would look nice on it!
