On Saturday I helped out at the Urner's Jr Chef, a kids cooking class! The theme was, of course, HALLOWEEN! Here's some pictures of some of the kids and their cupcakes!

It has no body damage besides a scuff on the front bumper and small scratches you would expect with an older car, the interior still looks decent, not ripped or anything, just minor stains on the floor, the engine was replaced about 2 years ago as well as numerous other parts like the inner sockets, rebuilt the brakes, I have all of this recorded. It has a new air compressor for the AC, but I never had the money to have it freon charged (I think it costs around $150?) so it just has to be flushed to make sure there is no leaks and oiled I believe they said (because it's just been sitting there). It's got a lot of miles (I don't remember how many though! I'll look!) I've never had a problem with it passing smog tests, I just had it registered in August and it passed without a problem. It drives good, besides the fact that it's an older car and you of course expect to have to keep up more maintenance than a newer car, it drives quite well. The one problem I have right now is paying close attention to the transmission fluid levels, I think there may be a leak somewhere. I wouldn't recommend it for cross country traveling of course! But it's good for around town, and it seats 8 :)

Oh and it has a radio/cassette player...but I do have a CD player that I just never got around to installing, but it's there for whoever takes the car! The speakers in the car are not good, the left side is pretty much nonexistent, but from what I hear for about $100 you can easily put in new speakers (if you do it yourself).

Eli suprised me last night with a whole set of Rachael Ray pots and pans! We're doing our kitchen yellow and citrus green, so they match perfectly! I am way too lucky :) I can't wait to cook tonight!

4th of July Weekend

After a 4th of July BBQ with my parents, and a day-after 4th of July BBQ with Eli's family, we ended the weekend with a BBQ/pool party at my parents house with the company of more family!
